Short version: it goes to one inbox, it's used to answer you, and it isn't sold, shared or fed to anything. The longer version is below, because you're entitled to it.
The Banjar Collective is run by Sven Kroone, based in the Netherlands. It is not yet a registered company, so for now Sven is personally the data controller for this website. Once the business is registered, its legal name, address and Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number will be added here.

We only collect what you actively type into a form. There is no tracking pixel, no advertising network and no profiling on this site.
For the itinerary form, the legal basis is that you asked us to do something for you, and we need the information to do it — under the AVG this is pre-contractual necessity. For the newsletter, the basis is your consent, which you gave by entering your address and which you can withdraw at any time.
Form submissions are processed by Netlify, our hosting provider, and forwarded to Sven's email. If your enquiry becomes an actual booking, the details necessary to make that booking — typically your name, dates and party — are shared with Fora Travel and with the hotel itself. Nothing beyond that is shared, and nothing is ever sold.
Netlify and Fora Travel are both based in the United States. Transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Enquiries that don't lead to a trip are deleted within two years. Records relating to an actual booking are kept for seven years, because Dutch tax law requires it. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe.
This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies and uses no analytics that identify you. If that changes, this page changes with it, and you'll be asked first.
Under the AVG you have the right to see the data we hold on you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict what we do with it, to receive it in a portable format, and to object to its use. Write to sven.kroone@fora.travel and we'll deal with it within a month — realistically, within a day.
If you think we've handled it badly, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl. We would rather you told us first.
